about me

My Wednesday morning routine is to boot up Spotify and listen to a new episode of Oologies, with Alie Ward (she interviews experts on their field of studies). Whether it's my favorite episode, Eudemonology, the study of happiness, or another fascinating subject, these episodes fuel my passion for learning and discovery.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm seeking new and fulfilling experiences, exploring new places, ideas, and everything else in between. Some of my favorite hobbies / pass times include cooking, finding new restaurants, traveling, or finding fun and local events to attend.

Coursera
Google Data Analytics Certification

Amid my journey in the healthcare insurance industry, I felt compelled to take on more challenging, and technical problems. After a bit of searching I discovered Google's Data Analytics program while looking at data analysis-related courses, and earned the certification a few months after.

In addition to learning SQL, Tableau, and R, the program further developed concepts I became proficient in during my undergraduate studies including broad topics on data analysis and data visualization.

Since earning the certification, I’ve applied my new skillset to more effectively clean, validate, and analyze large datasets for my personal projects.
